Specialised equipment, each designed by Joseph Pilates himself, are used in this class. These pieces of equipment work balance and flexibility and strengthen muscles using spring-loaded tensions. The springs work muscles in both concentric and eccentric phases of a workout, making it complete. The movement of the carriage of the reformer, the versatility of the tower, the balancing of the MOTR and the resistance of the chair, all challenge you differently and keep you motivated to get better.
This can be done in a small group of 3 to 4 people or as personal training.
