Equipment Series

Open to all aspiring Instructors

The Equipment Certification Series (Levels 1-4) offer you comprehensive Pilates training on large Equipment. Run over 4 separate weekends the Equipment Certification Series covers training on the Cadillac, Split Pedal Chair, Arc Barrel and Reformer. Unique to the APPI, this in depth equipment training moves you through the body as opposed to just focusing on the machine. This allows you to truly understand the difference between the similar movements on each apparatus and why you should choose one over the other for optimal outcomes.

Course Content: The full series qualifies for 16 REPs points per level.

Level 1 focuses on lumbo-pelvic control and strengthening exercises on all apparatus.

Level 2 focuses on scapulo-thoracic and upper body exercises on all apparatus.

Level 3 focuses on articulation and stretching on all apparatus.

Level 4 focuses on advanced movements and program planning on all apparatus.

Eligibility: This series is open to anyone who has completed a 2-day Matwork course with a recognised Pilates training institution. Those who haven’t done any Matwork course, will have to do an additional day of Matwork along with the Equipment Level One.

Equipment Level 3 - Spinal Articulation and Stretching

Equipment Level 3 focuses on flexion, extension, rotation and lateral flexion based on movements. It also looks at stretches on the Reformer, Split Pedal Chair, Cadillac and Arc Barrel.
